December 30th

I have been sitting here getting ready to write this weeks news update and thinking about this year that we are getting ready to say goodbye to. I usually don't have a hard time writing these updates, but this past year has been a very long one to say the least. I guess I would call it bittersweet. This was probably the most stressful year of my life…..My band equipment gets stolen, I lost my job and had a helluva time finding another good one, I got divorced and I have missed my kids who live in California. On the other hand….A bunch of other bands in town got together when they heard about the P.A. and thru a benefit to raise money for a new one. I went back to work for a company that I had helped build for 12 years of my life. I found a wonderful woman who treats me like a king and I have gotten to see my girls for the holidays this year. One thing that really was great all year, was this band. We really took some huge steps this year. The addition of Hector on drums was like the missing piece of the puzzle for us. He has been just awesome. The band is gelling better than ever and we seem to picking the right songs. We have been getting some great venues to play and a lot of clubs have come looking for us. We have met a lot of really great people and have really appreciated the support that they show us. Those of you who show up all the time are priceless to us. It really means a lot to us to have that kind of loyalty. There are so many people to thank, that there is no way I could do that on here. You probably already know who you are! Please continue the support and we will work to keep things fresh and interesting. Let us know what you think about our shows and song selections and anything else band wise. We do value your opinions. Now that I've made you sick … Come out and ring in the New Year with us at Blooze. There will be an "Old Chicago" theme for the event. Come dressed as a Gangster, Flapper, Cop, Gambler or just your best Black and White. The band will be dressed in their Zoot Suits and ready to party. There will be a champagne toast at midnight and "NO COVER" to get in. We are even raffleing off a brand new electric guitar courtesy of Milano Music in Mesa! The bar usually stays open longer than normal so you can sober up a little before leaving. There will be some food also. Last years party was a blast and this one should be even bigger. We hope to see you all there. Thanks again for a great year!

December 23rd

Oh Holy Angry Jon, the stage in bars a call you. It is the night of our bald and drunken ones. Long may the world, in sin and music find you. It is our call, to entertain and rock all night. We feel the need, to play and sing for you. It is our goal to make you come back for more. Pictures on the website, are there to titillate you. One thing's for sure, you will never be bored ... Well, here we are once again. The Christmas season is here and another year is coming to an end. I will save the "year end" speech for next week, but we do want to wish everyone a Very Merry Christmas! We hope the holidays will be great for everyone and Santa brings you everything you want. After all of the presents have been opened and you have taken back all of the gifts that didn't fit or were just stupid, come out and have a little after Christmas party with us. We will be playing at O'Kelley's this coming Saturday night. It will be a nice way to wind down after the holiday and cut loose a little. We are ringing in the New Year at Blooze and hope you will join us. We were there last year and it was a blast! We are expecting a great night and you get to see us in Zoot Suits! The theme is Old Chicago Style. Come in your best Black and White or Gangster Attire or Flapper Dress. It will be a hoot and a humdinger. We are officially pronouncing an end to Prohibition! Check the rest of the website for all the details on all of our happenings!

December 16th

"'Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house. Laid boxes and light strings, mostly burned out. The stockings were slung on the back of a chair, waiting for someone to hang them or to even care. When out on the lawn, there arose such a clatter. There he goes again, Dad fell of the ladder. The light string he was tangled in, saved him from a broken neck. Mom peered out from behind her eggnog and said….another trip to the hospital I'm not going to trek. The lights on the tree were so pretty and bright. 'Til half of them went out and I gave up the fight. I finally sat down in my chair for a rest, when the tree caught on fire and I knew I couldn't pass this test. With my tree half melted and most of the bulbs all broken. I slapped my hands to my face, just like Macaulay Culkin. As I went to sleep all frustrated and pissed. I realized my bad luck was because of an Angry Jon show I missed!" Sorry, I'll try harder next week…………We had a great time at Cactus Jack's in Ahwatukee this past weekend. We had such a good time that we decided to do it again this Friday. That's Right! Were back there this Friday for some more holiday cheer and rockin' fun and this time were bringing along our old drummer, John Ogle for the night. If that doesn't work for you or you live further away, come down to Jilley's in Scottsdale on Saturday. Were excited to be back there. It's a great club with great people. It's in the Scottsdale Airpark. So, now you have two choices for the weekend. Maps are available on the schedule page. NEW YEARS EVE...BLOOZE...BAND IN ZOOT SUITS…..OLD CHICAGO!

December 8th

WOW!!!!!!!!! What a great show at Sugar Daddy's! We have really come to love this place. The vibe can't really be compared to anywhere else. The staff is really cool and the crowds are awesome! We saw a few of our friends there, but more of you really need to check this place out. We will be back there in January, so check the schedule and make your plans. This coming weekend we will be playing at Cactus Jacks. We have been having a lot of fun there. We will be there both Friday and Saturday nights. They are located on Elliot Road and 48th St. right next door to Chuy's. We hope that your holiday isn't too stressful, but you can always come out and relieve that stress with us! You can just sit back, relax, have a drink and be entertained by the funnest band in the Valley. Keep checking the website for changes, additions, and just a lot fun and interesting stuff.

November 25th

Well, it was another great night at O'Kelley's! It started off slow and we thought the holiday coming up was going to affect our crowd, but things picked up quickly and the place filled up. We saw a lot of friends and fellow musicians. The boys from Whisper Alley drove out with people in tow all the way from the Westside. We had them get up for a few songs and the crowd loved it. We also got Aubrey from Tunesmith up to play bass on a couple of tunes. Bobby and Kevin from Lockdown, Will Pierce and Brent Wright also showed up. We also want to thank Blanca and her wedding party for having their bachelorette party with us. It was a wild night and we rocked the house. It was a great way to kick off the holiday season. Thanks to everyone who showed up. We got a butt load of pictures and some to even go up on the friendlies page (wink, wink) and they should be up soon. This coming week is going to be a busy one for everybody, but we do have some entertainment for you. On Wednesday, you can go check out Whisper Alley at Hardtailz. We will be out in support and I'm sure it will be a great way to kick off Thanksgiving. On Saturday we will be playing at Lagerfields in Paradise Valley. Hector is going to be out of town, so were bringing back our old buddy John Ogle to play drums for the night. We haven't been there in awhile, but were hoping everyone will want to come out and burn off that big turkey dinner with us. Bring all your families that are in town for the holidays and we will show them how to party Angry Jon Style. If you're traveling this week, please do it carefully. We hope that everyone has a great Thanksgiving and enjoys their only 4-day weekend of the year. We are definitely thankful for all of our supporters and wish you all a HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!

November 18th

We finally have some relief from the heat! You gotta love this time of year! We had a two great shows at Cactus Jacks this past weekend. It was a big, band lovefest!!!! Ed took on my roll of getting plastered and staggered his way out of the bar on Friday night. Saturday night was my turn again and I was in rare form. The last set on Saturday was pretty much just me being a dork and everyone had a good time. Thanks to the table of ladies who were hootin' and hollerin' all night long. Also, thanks to all of our friends who showed up unexpectedly! We will be back at O' Kelley's this Saturday night. We haven't been here in awhile and we are looking forward to it. As always with O' Kelley's, you will want to come fairly early if you want a good seat. We have some great gigs coming up in the near future and are excited about the direction the band has been going in! We have the right guys in place and people seem to like the new songs we are picking. As always, we welcome your input. We want to know what your thinking and what you would like to see or hear from us. The guest book is a great format for that and we do look at it. Your opinions are important to us, so give it! We hope your enjoying what we are doing with the site. Ed has been working hard to keep it fresh and we are trying to give you as much to look at as possible and keep it interesting. Make sure you look through all of the pages. We add new links from time to time (re: China White. Ed's former band from Jersey. See Ed with long hair) We have the Angry Awards. We try to keep as many pictures up as possible. Weekly news updates. Even personal things, like the pictures from Mine and Hectors trip to Mexico. But most of all, please let us know what YOU think. Your really the only ones that matter!

November 11th

VIVA LA MEXICO!!!!!!!!! Well, Hector and I made it back from Rocky Point safe and sound. We had a great trip and had a ton of fun. We were also there with Steve from Whisper Alley, his wife and some other friends. There were a lot of bikes, booze, food and friends. Some pics of the trip will be posted soon. We'll probably be back down there in May and we can't wait!!!! We will be playing this weekend at Cactus Jacks. We have been having a great time there the last few times we have played there. It's a great club for us and the staff is awesome. The crowd really has a good time. They are located in Ahwatukee on Elliot, near 48th St., right next door to Chuy's. We play both Friday and Saturday nights. We have posted the results to the 1st set of Angry Awards and Ed has put up the next set of questions. Be sure to cast your vote and check out the results from the last one. See you all very soon.

November 4th

I hope you all had a safe and fun Halloween. We had a great time this past weekend at Blooze. The Halloween party was a blast! A lot of people got into it and the costumes were great. The band was all dressed up and I went over the top again with my costume. Just check out the pictures (will be posted Monday night). We also celebrated our friend, Vince's birthday and his anniversary for being 8 years clean. Congratulations Vince!!!!!!! Saturday night was another good night. The crowd was having fun and we were surprised by the turnout, being that it was the night after a holiday. We really appreciate everyone's support. Ed was out of town for the weekend, but our friend, Mark from Whisper Alley, filled in and did a kick ass job! THANK YOU VERY MUCH MARK!!!! This coming weekend. I am sneaking off to Mexico, so we won't be playing. We will be back at it on the 14th & 15th at Cactus Jacks. We have been having a ton of fun there lately. We have also added a bunch of new upcoming shows to the schedule, so check those out as well. Thanks again for all of your support and we will see you soon.

October 29th

It was great to be back playing again. I have to say, Sugar Daddy's is just flat out, a great place to play. The crowd was unbelievable. It was almost like a concert by the end of the night. The room was packed and everyone was into it. We just found out we will be back there in December. You will want to check this place out. This weekend will be our Halloween party at Blooze. This Friday is Halloween and we will all be dressed up. The club is doing some special stuff and there will be prizes. This will be our first Halloween at Blooze, and from what we hear, it is crazy every year. We will have a special guest on Bass Guitar. Mark, from Whisper Alley, will be filling for Ed who went back east for his sister's wedding. You know how much we love Blooze and we hope to see you all there. Please be sure to party responsibly this weekend. This year, with Halloween being on a Friday, kinda kicks off the holiday season this year. Everyone, Please Be Careful.

October 22nd

We had this past weekend off, but it was still an eventful one. On Friday night, a few of us went out to the Cajun House to Check out Throttle opening for The Atomic Punks. They did a great job and the new line up for Throttle just ripped! They did a great job and they had some good crowd response. The band after them was Moving Pictures. They are a Rush tribute band and they were really good also. The Punks took the stage last and they just kicked ass! It was my first time seeing them and I was really impressed. They even got me up on stage toward the end of the night to finish Ice Cream Man and I think they were going to goof on me. Because I was bald, they started playing "You got another thing commin" by Judas Priest. The only problem was, was that I could actually sing and they weren't able to goof on me. Joe from Throttle got up and we traded off verses. They had me finish Ice Cream Man and the crowd really liked it. I made some new friends that night also. All the guys from Egomaniacs were there and also Hector. It was a fun night and we do have some pictures. Saturday night, Egomaniacs played at O' Kelley's. We had a great time!!!!!!! The crowd was awesome and the response was kick ass. The bar was very happy with us and we will be back there. You can see more about that night on the website www.theegomaniacs.com. This weekend Angry Jon will be back in action at a new club. We will be playing Sugar Daddy's for the first time on a weekend. This club is very cool. I think it might be the coolest club in the valley. You will want to get there early as this place fills up quickly. They also serve really good food for really good prices. We would love to see you all there!

October 13th

Thanks to the few of you who came out to the Cajun House this past Friday. It turned out to be a lot of fun. Terashain kicked the night off with a bang. I really enjoyed what they did. It was my first time seeing them and I would recommend others to check them out also. They were also a bunch of really nice guys. Whisper Alley, as always were great. They went on after us and finished the night with a bang. They are really good friends of ours and we love playing with them. We appreciated them inviting us on for this show. I thought our set went pretty well. Slate filled in on guitar for the night while Harley was out of town and really kicked ass. A lot of people were very surprised and pleased. It's always hard to go into a gig with someone filling in, but Slate really stepped up to the plate and knocked it out of the park! Thanks Bud, You were awesome. Now, the crowd on the other hand……that was a different story. I don't why this place doesn't advertise. They leave it all up to the bands and they make it hard for cover bands to play there. Oh well, we had fun anyway. We are off until October 24th when we will be playing the Sugardaddy's. This is one of the coolest clubs I have been in. The atmosphere is just incredible. The place will be packed, so if you plan on going….GO EARLY! I'm not yanking your chain here, this place gets PACKED!!!!!!!! But, it will be a ton of fun! Next weekend, Ed and my other band, Egomaniacs, will be playing at O'Kelley's in Mesa. Check the website for that information. See ya soon!

October 6th

We had a great weekend at Cactus Jacks. The crowds were awesome and we had a rowdy time both nights. We weren’t sure about this place when we started going back, but it has started to be one of our better clubs. It gets better every time. We will be back there next month. This coming Friday we will be at The Cajun House with Whisper Alley and Terashain. We are the middle band, so I would guess we would hit the stage about 10:30 or so. I do have discount tickets available, but you would have to get them before the show on Friday. We would love to have a crowd this weekend, so come show your support. Harley is going to be out of town the next couple of weeks, so our friend, Slate, is going to fill in on guitar this weekend. He has sat in with us before and we are looking forward to playing with him again. We have some really cool shows coming up, so look at the schedule and plan accordingly. Egomaniacs also has some shows coming up this month, so check that website also - www.theegomaniacs.com We hope to see you all this weekend.

October 1st

Hey Everyone, We will be playing at Cactus Jacks this coming weekend, both Friday and Saturday nights. This has become a great place for us to play. We haven't been on the Eastside for awhile and we look forward to seeing our friends from this side of town. Check the schedule page for more info. Next Friday we will be at the Cajun House with Whisper Alley and Terashain. We will be going on right after Tarashain and Whisper Alley will tear up the rest of the night after us. I do have free passes for this show, so if you would like to get in for free, I will have tickets this weekend at Cactus Jacks. Let me know if you want to go to this show! Also, Harley will be out of town for that show, but our friend Slate is going to be filling in on guitar for the evening. It should be a great party! See ya soon!

September 26th

Sorry it took so long to get the news done this week. It has been crazy for me and my time has been very short. We are looking forward to getting out to the Westside this weekend. Hardtailz was a lot of fun the last time we played there and I’m sure it will be again. The place fills up very fast, so if your planning on going, you will want to get there fairly early to grab a good seat. We play there both Friday and Saturday nights. We have a lot of great shows coming up and hope to see as many of you as possible. This year has been good to us and we have all of you to THANK for that. We will see you all very soon.

September 15th

WOW! I can't even put into words how great of a birthday I had. Our shows were great at Blooze. The birthday party at the show on Saturday was incredible. I can't even put into words how I felt. The crowd was awesome and everyone was sooooo nice. I want to send "Thanks" out to a few certain people………..To Eden, Ed, Tanya, Hector, Sharon, Joe, Harley and Carol…You blew me away with the decorations. It really made me feel good to walk in and see all of that. To Ed and Hector…..Thanks for the Queensryche tickets, you have no idea! To Will, Janel, Josh, John B., Rhonda, Sharon, Joe, Paul, Mary and anyone I might be leaving out…Thank you for the gifts! That was very cool and I appreciated it very much. Thanks to everyone who came out and help celebrate. It will be a great memory! Also, Happy Birthday to Alana! She showed up with friends in tow and we celebrated for a little while together. I can't wait to do it again next year! This weekend we will be off, but you can come check out Egomaniacs at Cactus Jacks on Friday night. We will be returning to action the following week at Hardtailz. It is the only club that we play on the west side of town. We will be there both Friday and Saturday nights, the 26th and 27th. Thank you all once again for celebrating my B-Day with me! It meant sooo much to me.

September 11th

I don't want to get overly sentimental about today, but I think it is important to remember the events that took place on this day two years ago. September 11th has become a very important day of remembering for the history of our country. It was a big day for me anyway because it is also my birthday. I think the biggest thing that we need to remember is the innocent men, women and children who died that day and just as important, the people who gave their lives trying to save them. They were Fathers, Mothers, Sisters and Brothers. They were Husbands and wives. They were friends and family, but most of all….their lives were taken because of the freedom that we have and others can't or don't understand. It is important to honor their memories and feel patriotic about what happened on that day on American soil, but to continue on living and enjoying the freedoms that we take for granted so often. September 11th will always hold specific memories for me for obvious reasons, but the one that I will always remember the most is the coverage of so many people going to see how they could help and trying so desperately to save anybody that they could. That is what made me very proud to be an American on that day! On to happier news………….Our shows this past weekend at Cactus Jacks were excellent. The crowds were great once again and the staff couldn't have been better. They even extended the stage for us and it was a much easier stage to play on. We will be back there next month. This weekend we will be at Blooze. I am very excited that this year we get to have my birthday party there. We will be there both nights, but my B-day will be celebrated on Saturday along with my adopted sister, Alana. For those of you who don't know her, she is Steve from Whisper Alleys wife. It is going to be blow out and I look forward to seeing as many of you there as possible. If it is anything like years past, I will be crawling out of the bar. GOD BLESS AMERICA

September 3rd

We are looking forward to get out and play again. These two weeks off have been too looooooooooooong. This weekend we will be at Cactus Jack's in Ahwatukee. For the first time, we will be playing there for both nights. We even got so bored that we had a rehearsal. That is something that we haven't done in over two years, but we just missed each other so much! yeah right... We did learn a handful of new songs though, so come out and play with us this weekend. We have a special gig coming up on Monday, September 8th at Sugar Daddy's. We were contacted by them as a possible place for us to play, but they want to see us first on a Monday. We know that is a horrible night for most of you, but if your not doing anything and you feel like getting rowdy on a Monday night, come on down. We start at 9:00pm. Next weekend we will be at Blooze. On Saturday Night we will be celebrating Jon's B-Day. It should be a blow out and we will also have a few special guests throughout the night. We are going to start inviting our fans and friends to write the weekly news updates. We think this would be fun to see other peoples take on our shows. So, beware you might be asked to write the next one! Peace out homies...

August 25th

Are you missing us yet? We will be off this weekend also, but we will be at Cactus Jacks the following weekend, Sept. 5th & 6th, for both Friday and Saturday nights. We are looking forward to playing again and are learning 5 new songs for those shows. We wanted to come out of these two weeks off with some new stuff for everyone. We hope your all marking your calendars for September 13th when we play at Blooze. We will be having Jon's big Birthday blowout that night and it will be a party. Just as a little heads up……..We have ran into a problem getting the money we need to pay for the rest of the P.A. that we had to buy after our old one got stolen. The only reason we mention it is because we may end up having to cancel gigs until we can come up with the money. If we could only find the guys who stole our old one, we could take it out of their skin. We will figure it out at some point, just be patient.

August 21st

Jilly's ended up being a great show. The crowd was very responsive and they stayed all night. We had a lot of friends show up in support and met a lot of new friends. The sound was really good and Layden kicked ass once again on lights. Steve from Whisper Alley showed up with his groupies and played a few songs. D-Day from Rag Doll got up for a little Led Zeppelin. The guys and gals from Tunesmith were there also. We helped Eden and Carmen celebrate their birthdays with their family. All in all it was just a great night and we look forward to going back. We just added a new date at Sugar Daddy's for Monday September 8th. I know what your thinking….Monday? Well, they want to check us out before they book us for a weekend and there paying us, so were all for it. We are getting ready to book a bunch more shows soon and they will be posted on the schedule page as we get them. We have the next two weeks off, but don't fret. This weekend Ed's and my other band "Egomaniacs" will be playing at Joes Grotto both Friday and Saturday nights. Check out www.theegomaniacs.com for details. The following weekend I'm sure a few of our friends bands wil be playing somewhere and I will give you all the heads up as to where when it gets closer. Thanks again for all of your support and we will see you soon.

August 11th

Well, we had another great first time at a new club. Hardtailz ROCKED! The crowds were awesome, the staff was great and the vibe was very cool both nights. Madd Hatter opened the show for us both nights and they kick ass. They should do very well with their new singer Joe. We had Rusty and Steve from Whisper Alley get up and jam with us. We also had 16 year old, Zach from Throttle get up and jam a few on the drums. We will be playing there again next month and look forward to it. It is nice to be playing on the west side again. This coming Saturday we have a big favor to ask all of our faithful. We are playing a new club for us…………………….Jilly's in Scottsdale. We need everyone to come out for this one. This club is used to bands like The Chadwicks and Dr. Ruth, but we all know that we are just as good as them. The club is using this show as a gauge in bringing us back on rotation. This is a very nice and clean club and they have great food. We will also be off the following two weeks, so it's a great chance to come and see us before the time off. The schedule page has the address with a map if you need directions. So, come out and help us bring down the house this Saturday! Like I mentioned, we will be off for the next two weeks following this show and will be back at it at Cactus Jacks at the beginning of September. My big Birthday bash is also coming up in September and this year it will be held at Blooze! All the schedule information can be found on the schedule page. Also, drop us a line on the guestbook when you stop by. We love to hear what you have to say.

August 5th

Our shows have just been kicking ass lately! The crowds have been great and we are having a great time. O'Kelley's this past Saturday rocked! We saw a lot of friends and a few old friends. We had a couple of special guests show up also. Throttles new drummer, Zach, got up and played a handful of songs with us. He did a great job and we even played Crazy train, which we don't do, but we got thru it and he knew it better than we did. The cool thing about him is that he is just 16 years old! John from Throttle was there also and he got up and did one too. Will from Madd Hatter played guitar on a couple of songs with his new stick! As always, it was a great night at O'Kelley's. This coming weekend we will be at Hardtailz. This is a new club for us and it is on the West side. The club is on the Southwest corner of 35th Ave. and Bell Road. We have special guests Madd Hatter opening the shows. They will go on at 8:00pm. We hope to see all of our Westsiders this weekend! We really appreciate your support and hope you keep coming out every week. We have some great shows coming up! We are also learning 2 new songs a week for the next few weeks, so you'll get to hear some new stuff.

July 30th

Our shows have just been awesome lately. I really want to "Thank" all of our supporters as of late. We have been getting support from so many people it is amazing. People have been bringing their friends to see us. We have been picking up new fans every week and they come back the next week. Of course, we also have the faithfull. The ones we can count on almost every week and it means so much to us. We played at Blooze this past weekend and it was "out of control" fun. Our crowds were so much fun! We had the Jager girls there on Friday and they had all kinds of new SWAG. We had Miller Promotion on Saturday and again, more stuff was given away. The bar was full both nights and we all just had a kick ass time. Thanks again to Blooze and all the people that came to see us. This coming Saturday we will be at O'Kelley's in Mesa. It has been awhile since we have been there and we are really looking forward to getting back there. We have a couple of new songs for you and will be adding about 2 a week for the next few weeks. Come out early so you can get a good seat. It has a tendency to fill up pretty quick. On Friday night a few of us will be hanging out at Blooze with Whisper Alley. We almost consider them family and they are a bunch of great guys and they can party!!! I believe they probably hold some kind of world record for partying! We'll be back on the Westside next week at Hardtailz. Check the website often for schedule updates, changes, pictures and info about ALL THINGS ANGRY!

July 23rd

WOW! What a weekend! They just don't get much more fun than that. Egomaniacs played on Friday at Brewskis. It was a great night and the Wet T-shirt contest went great. For more information on that show and to check out the pictures, go to www.theegomaniacs.com. Saturday night we played at Cactus Jacks. It just seems to get better every time we go back. What was really cool about the night was that about half of the crowd had seen us before and the other half hadn't, but heard about us. We met a lot of really cool people that night and made some new friends. The staff, really took care of us and were a pleasure to work with. Layden did another kick ass light show and the music was on. We even played about 5 songs that we really didn't know, but it was fun and the crowd really got into it. We even picked up 3 new stage dancers. All three were very attractive and even made us look good. One of them, Stacey, got up and sang a song with us. I think were going to find her a couple of more songs to sing with us when she comes out. Hector has been getting better and better with us every week. He did a great job and we are very happy to have him in the band. He is definitely one of us now! We will be playing "The Blooze" this weekend. This is still our favorite club to play. You just can't beat the atmosphere, staff or crowds. We get treated so well there and so does everybody who walks in. They are located on 32nd Street and cactus on the Southwest corner next to Burger King. Come out and party with us this weekend. Friday night, the JAGER GIRLS will be there and they will be running a JAGER promo all night. (Scary huh?) On Saturday, hector will be out of town, so we have asked our former drummer, John Ogle to come out and play with us that night. It will good to see our friend, so come out and say HEY to John. He may be a cornhusker, but we still love him! Lately a little known fact about me has come out, but I'm not alone in my perversion. One night on stage I mentioned something about a young ladies toes and how cute I thought her feet were. Hector told me later that he thought the same thing and that he is a footman also. So, it is out…Jon and Hector have a "Foot Fetish". I think we might even have to start a separate page for our fine, pedicured friends on the website. We hope to see you all this weekend, Jon

July 17th

We had the weekend off, but it wasn't un-productive. On Friday Ed and I went and hung our new posters in the clubs we have coming up. The new posters kick ass. Harley really out did himself this time. Ed and I ended up sitting in with Jimmy After Dark with John Bentley on guitar. On Saturday I hosted Ramjets First Annual Wet T-Shirt Contest. The contest was pretty wild and it ended up being much more than that. You can check out the pictures on the adult page. Whisper Alley played two long sets before and after and the night was a lot of fun. We are really looking forward to getting back out and playing again. Two weeks is too long! On Saturday night we will be back at Cactus Jacks. They re-modeled inside and there is more room now. They have a great staff and we have a lot of fun there. We are currently sending out new promo packs to some new clubs, so watch the schedule page for any new bookings. This Friday, come check out Ed's and my side project "Egomaniacs" at Brewskis. You can get all the info for that one at www.theegomaniacs.com. Angry Jon is also trying to think of a new "Theme Night" we can have. We have done the Pajama Party and now want to try something else. If you have any ideas, let us know.

July 9th

We hope everyone had a safe and happy 4th of July. I know a lot of people took advantage of the three day weekend to head out of town. We hope your all back safe and sound! We didn't play on the 4th. Joe's Grotto had asked us to play on the bill with Whisper Alley and Throttle, but we couldn't do it. I did go out there and it was a very good night. Both, Throttle and Whisper Alley kicked ass. Uncle Dad played also and they were very good. I got to see a lot of friends and had a great time. On Saturday we played at All Starz in Chandler. Ed was out of town, but Mark from Whisper Alley filled and did a great job. We will definitely ask him back when we need a fill in. Harleys daughter, Mica got up and sang a couple of songs with Dad. It was very cool. We had a decent crowd and everyone had fun. We are off this coming weekend, but I will be hosting Ramjets First Annual Wet T-Shirt contest out at Toms Players Club located at Thunderbird and Cave Creek. Whisper Alley will be providing the music for the night and knowing Ramjet, this will be more than just a wet t-shirt contest. We will be back at it the following Saturday at Cactus Jacks in Ahwatukee. This is a great club with great atmosphere. We always have a good time when we play there. Ed's and my project, Egomaniacs will be playing at Brewskis on July 18th. We will be hosting our own Wet T-Shirt contest that night. Check that website for details. www.theegomaniacs.com ... Check the website often. We are going to be adding some new clubs very soon.

June 30th

We had a very interesting and fun weekend at Blooze. It was Hectors first weekend with us and he did a great job coming in off of a week's vacation and no practice. We are happy he is with us and the crowds seemed to really like him. Friday night started out all right, but went down hill fast. We got thru the first set fine. We started the second set, played two songs and then had our friends from Madd Hatter get up and do a few tunes. When they finished, we had the boys from Whisper Alley get up and do a few more. The set went great and both bands sounded awesome. Somewhere during the next break, I became to inebriated to function any longer. It was funny though because I hadn't drank anywhere near as much as I usually do, but when I went on stage to start the next set, I couldn't even stand up anymore. I hadn't eaten much lately and have lost 15lbs in the last two weeks, so we thought that might be the problem, but it just seemed more than that. A lot of people think someone might have slipped me a mickey. I really hope that wasn't the case, but it was just too weird. I was fine and then all of a sudden, I wasn't. Needless to say, I spent the whole last set in the back of my truck with people taking care of me. In all of the years doing this, I have never once not been able to finish a gig. It is good to have friends. Of course Steve from Whisper Alley was just laughing and taking pictures the whole time, but I would have done the same to him, so I guess were even. All in all we got thru the night and I got safely home. I do have to say a big "THANK YOU" to the guys in the band! They really stepped up and finished the night without a hitch. To Harley, Ed and Hector………you guys are the best, Thanks for saving my ass! Saturday night went really well. Happy Birthday to the "VERY HOT" Dana and thanks for celebrating your birthday with us. We had Tumbleweed get up for a couple of songs and also Steve and Rusty. It was a lot of fun and we appreciate all of you. This coming Saturday we will be back at All Stars in Chandler. Ed is going back to Jersey for the weekend, so Mark from Whisper Alley will be filling in for the night. It will be a great night for "Hair of the dog" after all of your July 4th partying. We will off the following weekend, so come get your fill this week. On Friday, July 4th come join me at Joes Grotto for Whisper Alley, Throttle and Uncle Dad. I don't do the Fireworks thing, so I'm glad I will have something fun to do. They had asked us to do the show with them, but we couldn't do it, so I figured I would just go party with them. On Saturday July 12th, I will be hosting Ramjets first annual "Wet T-Shirt contest". Whisper Alley will be playing and there will be all kinds of debauchery. They have a bunch of interesting stuff planned and it will be a party. It's going to be at Toms Players club located on the SW corner of Cave Creek and Thunderbird. You won't want to miss this party. Remember………..Don't take drinks from strangers!!!!

June 23rd

We hope everyone had a great weekend. We enjoyed our weekend off, but can't wait to get back at it! I went out on Friday and rocked with Whisper Alley at the Cajun House. They opened the show for Metal Gods (Judas Priest tribute) and T.N.T. (AC/DC tribute). They rocked their set and then drank their share…Go Figure! I saw a lot of friends that night and a good time. On Saturday night Ed and I went to go see Throttle with Michael Nitro. They were at The Vine and the show was great. Both bands did killer sets and had really good turn out. I like what I saw from both bands. This weekend we will be back at home…………BLOOZE!!!!!!!!!! We always have fun there and the crowd and staff always kicks ass. You all keep hearing me say it, but Blooze is a Blast! They are at 32nd St. & Cactus. As most of you know we hired a new drummer to replace the departing Rob. Hector will be starting with us this coming weekend at Blooze. He might be a little rusty, but he is ready to go. Come out and show Hector your support and say "HI". Were excited about him joining the band. He is a really nice guy and will fit in great! His bio is on the site also, so you can learn a little more about him. Long live the TUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

June 15th

Happy Fathers Day to all of the Fathers out there! I spent the day with my oldest daughter. She is the only one who lives in this state, but talked to my other three on the phone. I really wish I could have been with them also, but at least their all healthy and happy! This past Friday we had a blast at O' Kelley's. We called it "Angry Jon & Friends". It wasn't a typical gig seeing as Harley was out of town, but we had some good friend come down and gave everyone a diverse and fun night. We started the night with some new friends "Tunesmith". They played a great set and were a really good band. Then I got up and sang a set with the boys from "Madd Hatter". I did my best to sing their songs and the crowd seemed to enjoy it. To top off the night we had most of the boys from "Egomaniacs" finish the night. Our guitar player, Steve was playing with "Whisper Alley" that night and couldn't be there so we asked a couple of friends to fill in for him. Will from "Madd Hatter" played half of our songs and Slate from the band "SL8". They did a great job and we really appreciated them doing us that huge favor. All in all it was a very successful night. We had a great crowd and they stayed all night long. THANK YOU to all of the musicians who came out and helped us get thru the night! We will be off this coming weekend. We were scheduled to play at "Hardtailz", but they accidentally doubled booked and we were on the losing end. We will be playing there in August though. Just keep checking the schedule for updates on all of our shows. We will be back in action the following week, June 27th & 28th at "Blooze". You all know how much we love this place, so make your plans now and we will see you then!!! Keep it real…………..REAL FUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

June 10th

Well, I passed my Insurance test and life is returning back to normal, whatever that is. I'm now training for my new job and will be looking to sell you all health insurance! Anyway, I'm back this week for the update! We had a great weekend! On Friday night we were at Cactus Jacks and had a great night. There was a great crowd and the staff really took care of us. We had some Angry Jon Virgins, which is always nice, and everyone had fun. They don't have bands for two nights in a row, but they have decided to start letting us play back to back nights because we kick ass! On Saturday we were out at Joe's Grotto playing with Whisper Alley! It was a great night right from the start. We had a good crowd when we started and it just got better as the night went on. We had a lot of good reaction and there were quite a few Angry Jon Virgins, once again. Whisper Alley kick ass, and kept the party going. We always enjoy the shows that we do with them. They always seem to bring out the crowds in force. We are talking about more shows together in the future. This weekend we will be having an Angry Jon and Friends night at O' Kelley's in Mesa. Harley had to go out of town on short notice and so we decided to bring some friends out to fill the night. We will have the band, Tunesmith opening the show and then I will be singing with, Mad Hatter. After that we will be having an all star jam featuring………..Myself, Ed on Bass, John Bentley from Throttle, Darrell White from Ripper, Will Pierce from Mad Hatter and Slate from SL8. It should be a rip-roaring good time, so come out early and stay late! We will be helping to celebrate Steve's (Whisper Alley/Egomaniacs) birthday Saturday night at HardTails in Phoenix. Whisper Alley is playing and HardTailz is a kick ass bar. Finally, we would like to regretfully announce that Rob has decided to step down from his drumming duties with Angry Jon. Luckily, we have already found our new drummer ... welcome Hector Amparan! Hector is good freinds with Steve from Whisper Alley and brings many years of playing experience to Angry Jon. He will be sitting in with us the next few gigs until he takes over the drumming duties full time in a few weeks. Welcome aboard Hector and best of luck to Rob! We will rock with you soon!

June 5th

Well, Jon's having a busy week studying for his insurance sales test so he has graciously let his favorite bass player do this week's update. Fortunately, not too much has been going on this past week so I don't have to ramble on for too long ... Friday night myself and Jon were at the Cajun House with our side project, Egomaniacs. We expected a better turnout, but had lots of fun anyway. You can find the details at the EGO site in the coming days ... Saturday, Angry Jon was back in action at All Starz in Chandler. There was a decent crowd and lots of Harley's family showed up. He even had his daughter Mica come up and sing a couple of songs. Pics from that show should be up by this weekend. Angry Jon will be back there Saturday July 5th with ex-AJ member Steve Dreher filling in on bass that night. This Friday we are back at Cactus Jack's in Ahwatukee & Saturday night return to Joe's Grotto to open the night for Whisper Alley. We go on @ 9pm so make sure you get there early! That's about all for now ... I'm sure I forgot something and Jon will probably let me know about it so if I did, I'll try add it later ... GOODBYE

May 27th

We hope everyone had a safe and fun Memorial Day Weekend! We played out at Blooze and had 2 great nights. I am always afraid to play holiday weekends because they seem to be slower, but it was great. We had great crowds both nights and everyone had a lot of fun. Along the way we have picked up some good, faithful fans that always come an see us at Blooze and it has just gotten better and better there. We will be back there next month. This Saturday we will be back at All Starz in Chandler. We have had some very fun shows there and haven't been there in awhile, so were looking forward to getting back. We play at 9:00pm and they are located on Chandler Blvd and Rural, right next to Walgreens. Come out and party with us. This Friday you can check out Egomaniacs. That's the side project that Ed and I are involved in. We are doing a show at The Cajun House. For more information you can check out www.theegomaniacs.com It is going to be a party and there are a lot of special things going on that night. This past weekend seemed like one long party. Not only did we play Friday & Saturday nights, I went and partied with the Whisper Alley crue on Sunday. What a party that was. There will be a few pictures on the Ego site from that party. Rusty showed us video of him skydiving the day before. He had never been and it looked really cool. So........a bunch of us decided to do it for my B-Day in September. I am completely afraid of heights, but I really want to do this! I guess the guys who run the place may be interested in having our bands out there for a party in conjunction with the jump. I will keep you posted on any new information on that. We realize that with summer upon us, things slow down in the bars. We hope that won't keep you away. The only way we succeed is if you all keep coming to the shows and we love all of you that support us. We will see you all soon!!!!!!!!!!

May 19th

I gotta tell ya, I'm starting to feel like I wrote "Murphy's Law. I just can't seem to catch a break these days. Last Monday I was released from my job. So now I am really on the job hunt. For the last week I haven't been doing much except job hunting. It doesn't look like a real good time to be looking for a new job, but I am trying to keep my spirits up and not get too down, which hasn't been easy. On Saturday I was invited to go golfing with friends and was really looking forward to doing something other than job hunt, when I went to get my golf clubs and discovered that they had been stolen along with my P.A. I just stood there thinking.........WHATS NEXT? I just keep telling myself that something really, really good is going to happen. It has been a helluva past few months to say the least. I am very grateful for all of my friends and family that have been and continue to be supportive through everything. This past weekend with the band was pretty interesting. On Friday night we played at Joe's Grotto and were really looking forward to it. It's a great room with a great sound system and lights, plus, it's Joe's Grotto. Well, we didn't have a very good night at all. The crowd started out small and didn't get better the rest of the night. We even drove down to Blooze on one of our breaks and sat in for a song with Whisper Alley. The crowd there was really happy to see us and it was very cool of Whisper Alley to let us crash their stage. We don't want to give up on Joe's, but we will probably be going back there with another band. On Saturday night we were at O'Kelley's and had a great crowd. Everyone was into it and had a great time all night long. We got some great pictures and met some new people. We also saw old friends and familiar faces. Andy Watts from Innuendo showed up and we had him get up to sing and play bass with us. He sounded great and we were happy to see him. We will be back there next month and we will be doing an Angry Jon & Friends night. It will be a lot of fun and we can't wait to go back. This coming weekend we head back to homebase..............BLOOZE!!!!!!!!! This is our favorite club to play and most of you know why. We always have a great time there and they treat us very well. We always see our friends and get really drunk there. You hear me say it all of the time, but this is really is our favorite club, come out and see why! They are located on 32nd Street and Cactus Rd on the Southwest corner. The shows always start at 9:00pm. and were there both nights. Thanks again for your support. Our fans are the best and we really appreciate you!

May 12th

WOW, AMAZING, FANTASTIC, HUMBLING, GREAT, INCREDIBLE! There really are no words to describe what took place this past Saturday night at TCC. Angry Palooza blew my mind! It was just unbelievable to me to see the turnout we had. The bands, everyone of them, sounded awesome and overall worked hard to keep it running smooth. We had a couple of little hiccups, but overall I couldn't have been happier! It really touched my heart to see people coming together on my behalf. When my P.A. got stolen, I really thought we were going to have to put the band on hold until we could replace my system. One person ( who prefers to remain anonymous ) got us the money to buy the new system and is really the one who made it possible for our band to continue playing. We can't thank him enough, but we still have to pay off the PA. When John Bentley found out about it and put this benefit together in one day, it blew my mind. Not just that he cared enough to do it, but also the bands that stepped up to offer their services, free of charge. On top of that, the crowd that showed up in support of the whole thing! It was very humbling. I said it that night and I will say it again...........You never really realize who your friends are, until something bad happens and they all show up in support. Well, apparently, I have a lot of friends and not one of you is taken for granted! I want to send out a big "THANK YOU" to everyone who was involved...............................

1- John Bentley for putting this together. I owe you one!
2- Tijuana Country Club for letting us do this there and being so cool about everything. Larry,Barb and staff........You Rock!
3- The Bands......
- Innuendo
- Live Krysus
- Whisper Alley
- Throttle
- Krak Smokin Grannies
- Egomaniacs
And also Super Hero for their guest appearance.
4- The volunteers who worked the door and raffle all night long.........Sandi, Kelli, Alana, Tanya and Tammy.
5- ALL OF YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! None of this would have mattered if you all hadn't come out in support. I am so thankful for each and everyone of you. You are never taken for granted!

On Friday night Egomaniacs had our first full night gig. We played at a little bar in Mesa as a warm-up and had fun. We had all of our loyals there and got that first gig out of the way. We are looking forward to our upcoming show at The Cajun House on May 30th. We will be playing with Krak Smokin Grannies and Throttle. It will also be Naughty School Girl night with $100.00 going to the Naughtiest School Girl and a Fender Guitar giveaway at midnight. Check www.theegomaniacs.com for more info. This weekend Angry Jon is back at it........... Friday night we will be at Joe's Grotto in Phoenix. We start at 9:00pm and go all night. Joe's is located on 32nd Street just North of Thunderbird. This is one of the longest standing Rock Clubs in the Valley and just a very cool place to be. Saturday Night we will be at O' Kelley's in Mesa for all you eastsiders. This has become a great place for us to play and it always pays to get there early for a good seat. They are located on Guadalupe just West of Dobson Rd. We hope to see you all at one of these shows this weekend. Once again, Thank You for all your support and God Bless!

April 28th

This was a better week. Nothing got stolen! Things are still pretty crazy in the Angry camp. Were all pretty busy with our personal lives and jobs. Speaking of jobs...............I am getting ready to make a move. The pool business hasn't been good to me for the last few months and I would really love to get my weekends back, so I am officially on the JOB HUNT! If anybody out there might have a line on an opening somewhere that would love to have a big tall bald guy working there, let me know through e-mail. I need to make a move soon, so any help or info would be appreciated. We had a great weekend at Blooze. We really thought the Laughlin Bike run was going to hurt us, but it didn't. We didn't have our usual biker crowd, but we still had two awesome nights. There were a lot of Angry Jon virgins brought by people that have seen us before, so it was a whole lot of fun. We had Layden back on lights and was happy about that. We have felt like something has been missing. We always love playing Blooze and we look forward to going back next month. This Friday we will be at a brand new club. It actually used to be "Pinkys" in Tempe, but they spent a buttload of money to remodel the place and it is now called "The Sets". It's like 4 clubs in one now. You can even smoke in one section of the bar. It is a really neat club and I don't think there is another one like it. It is worth coming to check out. It is located on the Southeast corner of Mill & Southern right next door to LA Fitness. They even have cages for some select ladies to dance in for our show. It really is a kick ass place, so come check it out. We will playing on May 10th at the TCC for our benefit "Angry Palooza" and we will be going on at around 7:00pm. Egomaniacs is going to be coming out of the gates here very soon. We have been rehearsing and actually wished that we had a little more time, but were just going to put it out there. We play our first warm up gig on Friday, May 9th at a little bar in Mesa called Priceless III. We have been rehearsing there and are doing it as a favor to them. We will also be playing at the "Angry Palooza" benefit show on May 10th at TCC in Ahwatukee. You can get more information about the benefit by clicking the Angry Palooza button on the main page. Egomaniacs will be headlining the night! We would really appreciate your support at the benefit. We are really struggling, trying to figure out how to pay for the new PA and really appreciate the fact that this thing got put together at all. It's really nice to find out just how many friends you really have. We also want to thank all of the bands who signed up to do this for us.

April 21st

What a week! As most of you know, my PA was stolen last week. I couldn't even get my brain around it when I discovered it. I just couldn't believe what had happened. I filed a report with the police, but the chances of recovering something like this is slim to none. I honestly thought I was going to have a mental breakdown over the whole thing. We weren't even sure if we were going to be able to continue playing as a band because I just didn't have the money or the credit to replace it. I was preparing to let you all know that we were going on a indefinite break, until we were able to replace the PA. Well, someone stepped up out of the blue and offered to loan me the money to get a replacement PA. They don't want their name mentioned, but I can't THANK him enough. He was a godsend and we won't have to cancel any gigs. In the middle of this tragedy, there was someone with a good heart that showed me the silver lining. On that note.......About 15 minutes after I found out that my stuff had been stolen, John Bentley from Throttle and Egomaniacs ( he also used to be in Lost Dog) called me and I informed him about what had happened. He was almost as pissed as I was. By the end of that day he had put together a benefit show to help raise money to pay for what we had lost. He had a venue, bands, soundman and had the whole thing organized by that night. I couldn't believe that he was willing to do that. I was also blown away by the other bands that offered their services for the event. You really find out who your friends are when something like this happens and apparently I have been blessed with quite a few! The benefit is being billed as "ANGRYPALOOZA" it will be held on Saturday, May 10th at Tijuana Country club in Ahwatukee. It will start at 5:00pm and go all night. There will be 7 bands and the cover will be $7.00. The line-up is as follows................

Innuendo
Live Krysus
Angry Jon
Whisper Alley
Throttle
Hard Tail (aka Krak Smokin Grannies)
Egomaniacs(aka Judith Rules)

We would appreciate your support with this. I know things are tight for everyone and would appreciate any help you can give. You can go to the following link for more information. www.tccbar.com/event-2003-angrypalooza.htm This past weekend we played at Champions in Mesa. We barely pulled that off. The guys from Beer Bottle Rockets loaned us their PA for the weekend. We want them to know that we really appreciated their willingness to help. We would have had to cancel with their help. On Saturday we were able to go pick up our new PA and used it on Saturday night. The guys from "Madd Hatter" opened for us both nights. They sounded great and helped out more than will ever know. We appreciated the help they were able to give. The crowds were a little weak, but I think Easter had a lot to do with that. We will be back there soon. This coming weekend we will be back at Blooze. We will be using our new PA and looking forward to some friendly faces. We will be doing a raffle this weekend to try to help re-coup some of the money. Most importantly we are just looking to playing the club that has always taken care of us. We will be there on both Friday and Saturday. Thank you again for all of your help and support. It is appreciated and won't be forgotten. See you soon

April 7th

Arizona in the Spring...............THIS IS WHY I LIVE HERE! We had a great weekend and got to kick off "Bike Week" with our buddies from Whisper Alley. We played with them at Malones on Friday night. They had a boxing ring stage set up outside for Whisper Alley to play on early and we were to play inside right after them. Well, the cops showed up after they had been playing for about a half hour and shut them down. We just had them come inside and finish their set on our equipment. They played for about another hour and the room got packed, it was insane. You couldn't even move around inside the place. We took the stage at about 11:00pm and the place just kept rockin. It cleared out a little bit because people couldn't move. It was a great night and were working on doing some more shows with Whisper Alley. Saturday night was a little less eventful, but fun just the same. We played at All Starz in Chandler. Layden, our light man, called me at around 4:00 in the afternoon and said his van was broke down and he wasn't going to be able to make it. I wasn't sure what to do because All Starz doesn't have any stage lights at all. I called my buddy Darrell from Ripper and asked if we could use their lights. He couldn't get ahold of the guy who had them, so we figured we were going to go without lights. Well, Stan from Ripper called me at about 7:00pm and said he would bring down their lights and really saved our ass. He brought them down and he and Darrell set them up for us. We really want to THANK those guys for helping us out. We didn't have a very big crowd, but everyone had fun. Dave from Live Krysus came out with his wife and got for a song ad also Thor from the old Phat Puddin days came out with his wife. He is a band now called THE SWINGING JOHNSON'S. It was good to see our ferns and we all had a good time. This coming weekend we will be at 2 different clubs. On Friday we will be at Cactus Jacks in Ahwatukee. We haven't been there for awhile and are looking forward to it. We had a great time when we played there the last time. They are located on Elliot and about 44th St. They are right next to Chuy's. Come on out and help us rock the joint. On Saturday we will be back at O' Kelley's. We love this club and you need to come out and see why. It is located on Guadalupe just West of Dobson Rd. As always, you may want to come early. It does fill up there and seating becomes an issue. Thank you all for your support and we look forward to seeing you all this weekend.

March 30th

Another week.............another, uhhhhhhhh.......week. Why is it, that as I get older, my body feels like it's slowing down, but time flies by even faster? Just one of those little facts of life that sucks, or maybe, I'm just getting more and more lazy. Oh well, at least I'm still breathing! This past Friday we went out to see Whisper Alley at Joe's Grotto. They were great and even got me up for a couple of songs. Scott got his drum head air brushed with their name and a really cool design and it looks great. I talked to Joe and he booked Egomaniacs there in August! On Saturday night we were at O' Kelley's. We had a lot of fun and saw some friends. We didn't have as big of a crowd as we usually do there, but we still had a good time. It wasn't a small crowd, just not what we have been used to there. From what I'm hearing, it has been pretty dead everywhere in the last couple of weeks. I think the war is effecting things more than we would all like to admit. We did 3 new songs that night and probably should have waited on them. I think we were all a little rough around the edges after being off for 2 weeks. This coming weekend we have 2 shows on opposite sides of the Valley............... Friday Night we will be at "Malones". We will be playing after Whisper Alley, sometime after 11:00pm. They will start the night out and we will be finishing it. It should be a great time and we always look forward to our nights with Whisper Alley. Everyone wins on those nights. You get two for one. Malones is located on Cave Creek Road just South of Greenway, on the West side of Cave Creek. There will be a lot of food, clothing and bike booths. It will be a great event and one not to be missed. On Saturday, we will be at All Starz in Chandler. We have a great time at this bar and the crowds are always fun, and the wait staff is very cute. We will be rocking all night and would love to have you there with us. All you east siders who can't make it out Saturday, can be there on Saturday. Egomaniacs is coming along well. We are rehearsing every week and will be doing our warm-up shows in May at a little dive in Mesa called Priceless III. You all know about the big debut show at Cajun House May 30th. It will also be a Naughty School Girl Night. We should have a great time and I hope everyone is getting excited about this project. I said earlier that we will be playing at Joe's Grotto in August also. One last note..................If you don't have insurance or some kind of service protection on your cell phone..........GET IT! My cell phone fell out off of my belt on Sunday. When I tried turning it back on, it was dead. They bent me over for an outrageous amount of money to get a new one, so learn from my mistake and get insurance if you don't have it. Of course, Murphy's Law seems to be my mantra in life and should be tattooed across my ass!

March 24th

I don't want to keep shoving my political opinions down anybody's throat, so this week let me just say...........Lets pray for our troops and to the families of those who have lost loved ones or have loved ones in captivity. Let's also pray for a swift end and hopefully this won't all be for not. We all enjoyed our weekend off. We have picked 3 new songs to throw at you this coming weekend. I stayed in on Friday night, but went to support my buddies in 68 guns on Saturday. They put on a great show and I gave them as much shit as possible. We hung out with our friends...Darrell from Ripper and one of Angry Jon's longest supporters... Angela. We drank a little too much and I want to thank Kim for the Jager shots. We saw a lot of friends and had a great time. This coming Saturday we will be at O' Kelley's in Mesa. This has become a really good club for us. The crowds have been great and the staff treats us really well. Like I said, we will doing 3 new songs. Were going to try to keep learning new songs every couple of weeks to keep things fresh. There is no cover at O' Kelley's and they even have great food. We have some great gig's coming up in April and you can check the schedule page to see where we'll be. This coming Friday you can check out Whisper Alley at Joe's Grotto. We will be at Joe's in May. We will be doing another show with Whisper Alley on April 4th at Malones to kick off Bike Week. Egomaniacs (Judithrules) is coming along really well. We are still learning more songs and rehearsing every week. We should have our website soon and you will be able to check out all of the details. We still have our big premier show at the Cajun House coming up on May 30th. Krak Smokin Grannies and Throttle will be playing with us that night also. We will be having a "Naughty School Girl" night. There will prizes for the women that come dressed up. I will keep you posted. We hope to see you all out soon. With all the turmoil going on right now, an Angry Jon show might just be the distraction you need! We Love You.....We Appreciate you......We never take you for granted!!!!!!!!!
